A.C.A. (Peter) Howe, P. Eng. – CHAIRMAN EMERITUS – Mr. Howe is the founder of A.C.A. Howe International, a world renowned geological and mining organization established in 1960. His 50 years of international consulting and managerial experience to the mining industry have established valuable contacts around the world. He was Wasecos President during the years when the Company advanced an alluvial gold project to Positive Final Feasibility.
Derek Bartlett, B.A. Geology – Director – Mr. Bartlett was Vice-President Exploration and Senior Manager for Goldfields Mining Corp. He has over 35 years of industry experience. For the past 20 years, he has been active in the exploration field, both as a CEO and a director of junior exploration companies.
Michael Ellingson, B.Sc. Mining Engineer – Director – Mr. Ellingson graduated from Michigan Technology University with a B.Sc in Mining Engineering and has had a career in both mining and the capital markets, where he has spent the last 30 years focusing on the junior mining sector as an investment executive.
James Richardson, C.P.A. – Director and Secretary Treasurer – Mr. Richardson has been a C.P.A. with international interest for more than 40 years, with international experience as a partner of KPMG (UK) and E&Y (Canada and Singapore). He currently practices as a company doctor and sits on the Boards of several public companies.
Peter Sever, MBA – Director – Mr. Sever is a successful entrepreneur who has built and sold several globally competitive companies in the fields of the stage arts, one of Canada’s largest computer retail business, a luxury yacht manufacturing company. He served as a Director of Minefinders Corporation prior to its sale to Pan American Silver.
Richard Williams, LLB. – Director, President and CEO – Mr. Williams was Vice- President, Secretary, Counsel to a group of publicly listed companies for 10 years before founding Blackwell Investor Relations Corp., a firm specializing in introducing public companies to the investment community. He has been active in the mining industry for over 30 years and has been a member of the teams that have brought four mines into production. He currently sits on the Boards of several public mining companies.
Mr. Williams is the Company President and Mr. Richardson is the Company Secretary-Treasurer. It has been determined that in this day of regulatory compliance, where independent varification is needed in most areas of the industry, reliance on joint venture partners and out-side consultants is the route adopted. In so doing, the Company is able to maintain an extremely modest overhead cost and ensure that funds are used primarily for in the ground exploration.
